Harold James Cockbill.
Very little is known about Harold (Harry) James Cockbill. He was discharged from A Company of the HCB at Belton near Grantham, Lincolnshire, but one record found, indicates that he was a Corporal and later Sergeant. His Grandson indicates that family tradition states that he served in the Middle East and France. Photos kindly provided by Graeme Walden.

Many thanks to Graeme Walden for providing data on his grandfather Harold (Harry) James Cockbill. He advises that Harry talked about his friend who he referred to as 'Trapper' - G. W. Tappenden. Photos kindly provided by Graeme Walden.
