Frederick William Harlock.

. Fred came from Ramsey St. Mary's, Huntingdonshire and enlisted in the 2/1st H. C. B.  He joined some time before the 10/11/1914 enlisting in the H. Q. at St. Mary's Street, Huntingdon - when his name first appears.

One reference indicated that Pte. W. Harlock was wounded < 3-11-1916 .

He later was transferred into the Machine Gun Corps. with the Army number 32798 - finally being demobilised a/z/r 22-7-1919.

 

The soldiers in this photo have kindly been identified by Croydon Onyett as George William Onyett (on left) Ernest Arthur Harlock (centre) Fred Harlock (on right) - all as viewed.

 

 

This photo, kindly provided by Croydon Onyett shows his father, George William Onyett in the middle flanked on his right by Fred Harlock and on his left Ernest Albert Harlock.

This soldier was the Great Grandmother's nephew of Paul Chapman who kindly provided some of the information on this soldier.
