. From a paper dated May 26th 1917 Private William West, Hunts Cyclist attached to the Worcester Regiment. Husband of Mrs West, 123 High Street, Old Fletton, was killed in action in France on April 22nd.

. From a local paper dated 12/5/1917 = Private William. West, one of the Cyclists attached to the Gloucester's, the second son of Mrs. H. West, Fletton, was killed in action on April 22nd. He had been in several engagements and was previously wounded last October.
