From a local paper dated 15/9/1916 = From private information we learn that Crop. Frank Walker (Cyclist Battalion), former landlord of the old "Bull Inn" Godmanchester, has been killed in action.

. From a local paper dated 6/9/18 - In Memoriam - In ever loving memory of my dear husband, Corporal Frank Walker [Hunts Cyclists], who was killed in France on September 5th, 1916. There is a link death cannot sever, Love and remembrance last for ever. From his wife and children.
