. Under Battalion orders 132, issued by Lieut. Col. J. L. Stanley V. D., officer commanding 2/1st Huntingdonshire Cyclist Battalion issued at The Vine Cottage, Chapel St. Leonards, Lincs. on 4th June 1917 at 5-00pm., and signed by H. B. Moss Blundell, ( 2l/t and acting Adjutant), orders being for the following day i.e. 5th June 1917 (Ref: 155), records indicate that he was to proceed to the School of Instruction for Company Cooks at the Command School of Cookery, Cavalry Barracks York 4-6-1917, at the time he was a Pte. F. J. Wood 291465 at the time he was in A Company.
