A. E. Worton

. A. E. Worton of Huntingdon, motor body builder aged 23, born 1895,  son of Wallis Worton, sheet metal worker married Elisy May Burr, aged 25, born in 1893, daughter of David Burr, beach seafront carriage proprietor on the 10th November 1918 at St. Oswald's, Filey.  

Local papers indicate that by the 16/11/1917  -  Huntingdon Man Wounded.

Sergt. A. E. Worton, son of Mr. & Mrs. Worton, St. Mary's Street, Huntingdon, is in hospital near Sheffield wounded in his left elbow. Sergt. Worton was called up with the Cyclists at the commencement of the war. He went to France in August and was attached to the London Regiment.
