George Underwood.

He is remembered at the Tyne Cot CWGC Cemetery on the Ypres Salient.

George Underwood - He was part of a contingent of 130 men of the Hunts. Reserve Battalion who had volunteered for active service in December 1914. They left from Huntingdon station in carriages attached to the 10:06 train.

George Underwood was born in Godmanchester, Huntingdonshire, enlisted at Huntingdon, was given the Army number of 267526 and as a Private in the 1st Bucks Battalion Ox & Bucks Light infantry, he was Killed in action in France and Flanders aged only 24.
