Reginald Slote

. Little is known on this man - he is known to have served in the HCB and then transferred into the Royal Berkshire Regiment, where he went to France and served as a private in the Battle of the Ancre in November 1916. He was a sniper.  He was injured during this battle but survived his wounds, returning to live the rest of his life in Ramsey St Mary's Huntingdonshire.
