Arthur William Portsmouth.

. Arthur William Portsmouth was born in 1882 in London, London, and sometime later served in the Huntingdonshire Cyclist Battalion under the HCB number 2284. He was the son of Henry George Portsmouth [born in 1862 in London, Middlesex] and Elizabeth.
His Army number was 460359 and he was a Private in the 507th Agricultural Company, (labour Corps). He died on the 2nd December 1918 in the 507th Agricultural Co. and his name is commemorated on the screen wall in Kensal Green (All Souls') Cemetery, London. Grave reference 198. 19. 46164. (Screen Wall.).

Arthur William married Ellen Russell, who was born in 1883 in Marylebone, Middlesex. He died on 02 Dec 1918. However records show that Arthur William Portsmouth and Ellen Russell had the following child: George Albert Portsmouth born June 1919 in Marylebone, Greater London, and died August 1999 in Camden, London.
