William Kisby Rowell.

He is remembered on the Sawtry War Memorial.

From a local newspaper dated 29/9/1916

Lance Corpl William Kisby Rowell, eldest son of Mr and Mrs [James???] Rowell of Sawtry, was wounded in the chest on September 8th and died in France on September 11th. He enlisted in September 1914 and had been at the Front six weeks. He belonged to the Cyclist Battalion, but was attached to the Beds.
