. From a local newspaper dated 10/10/1917

Corpl. W. Reedman, Royal Warwicks, is in hospital at Knutsford, Cheshire, with illness contracted in France. He writes that he is now feeling a lot better, and is in a very good hospital. /No one could wish for better treatment and good food/ he says. Corpl. W. Reedman, who was transferred from the Cyclists, was home about two months ago.
