. Private 203144, 1st/5th Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment. Killed in action Saturday, 3rd November 1917 in Palestine. Age 24. Born, resident and enlisted Sawtry. Only son of George and Lucy Parker, of High St., Sawtry, Peterborough. Formerly 735, Huntingdonshire Cyclist Battalion. 

Buried in Gaza War Cemetery, Israel. Grave XXX. B. 4.
