William Lewin Manning

. William was born on January 7th. 1892, being baptised on June 5th. 1892 in Offord Cluny Son of William & Emma Manning [nee Franklin] of Offord Darcy, Huntingdonshire.   William senior was noted as being a Labourer.

William served in the 2/1st HCB enlisting before the 14th May 1914.   He came from Offord Darcy and was later transferred into the Army Service Corp.  He is always listed as a private soldier.
