The Huntingdonshire Cyclist Battalions

Thomas Mason.

He was private 307706, in the 1/8th Territorial Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Killed in action 27th August 1916 in France & Flanders.
He enlisted at Huntingdon, resident of St. Ives.

Before serving with the Warwickshire Regiment Formerly he was a private, 1563, in the Huntingdonshire Cyclist Battalion. Commemorated on Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France. Pier and Face 9A, 9B and 10B.

He is also remembered on the St. Ives War Memorial that is situated in the car park area off the main road and square running through the town.
