Robert Freeman Moulton.

From a local paper dated 1/12/1916

Death of Pte. Moulton. It is with sorrow that we learn of the death of Pte. Moulton, eldest son of Mrs. Moulton, of Haselmere Villas, St. Ives, and the late Sergt. Syd Moulton. The young soldier went away with the Cyclists on mobilisation, and was eventually attached to the Warwicks. He was hit with a shell, and died some time afterwards. Two St. Ives boys, Privates. Gale (son of Insp. and Mrs. Gale) and Pte. Grey (son of Mrs. Grey) sent home the sad news, the first named saying that the deceased was buried with full honours as was possible to accord.

He is remembered on the St. Ives War Memorial that is situated in the car park area off the main road and square running through the town.
