Charles Males.

. As a Corporal, 43072, in the 1st Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment he was killed in action Monday 4th September 1916 in France & Flanders at the age of  28. 

Born Brixton, Surrey he  enlisted Huntingdon, resident Godmanchester. He was the son of Frederick and Mary Elizabeth Males, of Godmanchester & formerly served a private 1198, Huntingdonshire Cyclist Battalion. 

He is buried in Delville Wood Cemetery, Longueval, Somme, France. Grave XXIII. F. 9.
