Promoted from Corporal to WOII (CSM) F. Jowett transferred to the Royal Warwickshire Regiment - Warrant Officer Class 2 (CSM) - his information was inscribed on his British Victory and War medals, but Hunts Cyclist was on his Territorial Force War Medal - Corpl. - showing he had volunteered for service outside the United Kingdom at the outbreak of war.

 He was also entitled to the Territorial Efficiency Medal with the 5th Bn Northamptonshire Regiment - Warrant Officer Class 2 - with which he had served on after 1921.
