The Huntingdonshire Cyclist Battalions

Walter George Hounsham.

From a loc\al paper = 11/11/1916 Private Waiter Hounsham of the Cyclists, who has been missing since August 27th has been officially notified as killed in action. He was the eldest son of Mr and Mrs. W. Hounsham, Brick Lane, Old Fletton, and was well known in the district. He was employed by the late Mr Bluff, Coal Merchant, and joined the Cyclists at their formation.

He is remembered at the Thiepval Memorial to the Missing on the Somme in France.
