Barkley, officer commanding 2/1stHuntingdonshire Cyclist Battalion issued at Beechlands, Skegness on 25thAugust 1918, and signed by W. J. Satchell (Captain and Adjutant), on 24thAugust 1918, [Regulars] records indicate that he was posted to Battalion from Beds. Regt. 23/8/1918, taken on strength and posted to C Company.
