. Private W. P. Henson 291321 at the time he was in  D company - Under Battalion orders 158, issued by Lieut. Col. J. L. Stanley V. D., officer commanding 2/1st Huntingdonshire Cyclist Battalion issued at The Vine Cottage, Chapel St. Leonards, Lincs. on 4th July 1917 at 6-00pm., and signed by W. L. Stephenson, ( 2l/t and acting Adjutant), orders being for the following day i.e. 5th July 1917 (Ref: 154), records indicate that he returned to A Company of the 2/1st HCB for Rations and Accommodation from 2-7-1917 he had been attached to the 2/6th (cyc) Batt. Suffolk Regiment.
