From a local paper dated 12/7/1918 = Sergt. Victor Howes, son of Mrs. Howes, 27 Germain Street, Huntingdon, has been awarded the Military Medal for bravery in the great battle, which has been raging in Italy.  He now belongs to the Warwickshire Regiment, and was formerly in the Hunts. Cyclists.
