Albert Franklin.

From a local paper = 29/9/16 =  Private Albert Franklin, Cyclist Battalion, of Eynesbury, has had a narrow escape. A piece of shrapnel struck his steel helmet, and bounced off onto one of his hands, on which it inflicted a wound. The soldier of next to him was killed.

From a local paper = 8/11/18 = The bullet which went through the arm of Private Albert Franklin, of Eynesbury, broke the bone above the elbow. It has been set and is going on well. He says he's getting the best of treatment at Torquay. Since he arrived there he has had a bad attack of 'flu.'
