William Elliott.

Mr. W. R. Elliott, of Brampton, has been informed that his son, William Elliott, of the Bedford Regiment, has been killed in action in France. Private Elliott and was twenty-one years of age. He was in the employ of Messrs. Wood and Ingram at their Huntingdon head office and joined the colours in 19 September 1914. Much sympathy will be extended to Mr. Elliott, who has now lost both sons, his eldest son Private J. Elliott, of the black watch having died of wounds in Mesopotamia in April of the present year.  

He is remembered at the Thiepval Memorial to the Missing on the Somme in France. Panel 2C. .
