Edwin Leslie Everett.

Edwin Leslie Everett came from St. Ives, Huntingdonshire.  Born in 1893 he later resided at River View, Fenstanton Road, St. Ives, Huntingdonshire.  He was the son of Edwin Alfred Everett and records indicate that his father was dead by 1917 when his son was married.

He enlisted as a private in E Company the H. C. B . on the 5th August 1914 he was embodied into the Battalion  and later was transferred into the 1/8 Royal Warwickshire Regiment (T. F).

Edwin was married to Winifred Osborne Kiddle - being married at Fenstanton on 29/3/1917.

He went on to serve in France with the Royal Sussex and then later obtained a commission in the 5th Royal Warwicks.
