The Huntingdonshire Cyclist Battalions

. He was a private in the HCB and was given the number of 696. Coming from Warboys, Huntingdonshire he enlisted at Huntingdon sometime before the 13/8/1915 and stated that he was also born in Warboys.
He was posted to France on as a private where he was posted to the Royal Warwickshire Regt. with the number 30163 - he was also later transferred into the Machine Gun Corp with the new Army number of 106579.
