William Tebbitt Cox.
. | From a local paper dated 13/9/18 - Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Cox, of Huntingdon, has received the sad tidings of the death of the eldest son, William Tebbitt Cox, Able-Bodied Seaman (Higher Grade) of the Royal Naval Division, who was killed in action on August 21st, in the recent victorious advance. He joined the Hunts. Cyclist Battalion at the age of sixteen in September 1914, was transferred to the Royal Naval Division, and saw much severe fighting in the last 18 months. After four years strenuous service he was at the time of his death still under 21 years of age. | ||
