. He was 39293, Cpl, 1st Royal Berkshire Regiment (Princess Charlotte of Wales's). Killed in action 5-11-1916. Born Huntingdon, enlisted Warboys.
Formerly private no. 198 Hunts Cyclist Battalion.

He was buried Euston Road Cemetery, Colin camps, Somme, France. He is remembered on the Warboys War Memorial that is situated in the main Road running through the Village.
