His grave is in Hooge Crater cemetery - Grave number IX-B-9.

Private 203393 15th Bn., Royal Warwickshire Regiment who was killed in action on Friday, 26th October 1917. Resident Brampton, enlisted Huntingdon. Formerly 1308, Hunts Cyclist Battalion. 

Buried in HOOGE CRATER CEMETERY, Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Grave IX. B. 9.

 

From a local paper dated 7/12/17  -  Pte. Ernest Harold Baxter, Royal Warwicks, of Brampton, has been killed in action.  He is the thirty-third Brampton man to lay down his life in his country's service.
