Bert Brown

. From a local newspaper - 9/11/1917  - Fletton man twice wounded in six months.  Lance - Corpl. Bert Brown, Cyclist, attached to the Royal Warwicks, youngest son of the late Mr. James Brown and Mrs. Brown, 60 Queen's Road, Old Fletton, was wounded in action on October 25th, and is now in hospital at Northampton suffering from shrapnel wounds to the face.  This makes the second time in six months.  There is also another son in France , and one in training in Cardiff .
