. Second Lieutenant M. B. Stringer - Under Battalion orders, issued by Lieutenant Colonel M. D. Barkley, officer commanding 2/1st Huntingdonshire Cyclist Battalion issued at Beechlands, Skegness on 5th July 1918, and signed by W. J. Satchell (Captain and Adjutant), on 4th July 1918 at 7-00 p.m., records indicate that he was Subaltern of the day - 6th July 1918.
