. G C Bower - His name appears on a list of appointments and promotions that appears in local papers on 5/3/1915. He was appointed acting Sergeant, from the rank of Corporal, in G company of the 2/1st Battalion.
Corpl. G. C. Boyer, by 6/3/1915 he had been appointed acting Sergeant of the 2/1st H C B and attached to G Company.
